David Duchovny Leaves Rehab...And Is No Longer Like Hank Moody

Image via Wikipedia Apparently the sex addict is now done with his treatment and was seen leaving rehab with his wife. Now, does anyone else find it the least bit ironic that David had to be put in rehab for his sex addiction and his character in Californication is desperately in need of the same thing? I mean, his character Hank Moody on the show basically jumps on anything that moves. Sex in some shape or form is basically the plot of every episode. I'm not saying the show is bad, I think the show is hilarious and witty, I'm just pointing out the irony.

You know what I was thinking the last time I saw an episode of Californication? I was thinking, hey, maybe this is was his life was like before he went to rehab. I mean I am guessing he didn't cheat on his wife but I'm betting he thought the same way Hank did, and that is with the lower part of his body and not the top part. Heck, maybe now that he is out of rehab the next season of the show won't be as good. Maybe he will read he scripts and think to himself "Why am I going to do this when it might make me all messed up again?". Who knows? But I am sure of one thing, his rehab situation definitely wasn't just a gimmick for the show to gain some press. In fact, no one really talked about the show when they reported on his rehab, it was always " X-files star enters rehab" and stuff like that. Well, I am glad that he is better now and I hope Californication continues to be a good show. Oh, Californication and True Blood, definitely True Blood for the win.

I Finally Got A JOB!!!

Image via Wikipedia I am so excited, I finally have a real job! I can now buy whatever the heck I want! I am working as a mix between a paid intern and a temp at SAIC where my dad works. I will probablly just go around typing things, taking out the trash, and doing other boring stuff. But I am going to make $380 dollars a month. I will definitely be buying an iPod Touch and new digital camera for our trip to NY in a few months.

Former Blink 182 Drummer Hurt In Plane Crash

Image via Wikipedia Did anyone hear about this yet? Apparently Travis Barker, the former drummer for you guessed it: Blink 182, was hurt along with DJ AM in crash. Four other people were also killed in the same crash. Now is it just me or does anyone else think that it is strange that the "Celebrities" or better known people I should say, survived the crash while the other four didn't? Even though they survived it just shows what kind of world we live in today, no matter what would have happened, if all had died, none had died, or if only those two had died, all the media would be talking about is Travis Barker and DJ AM. I'm not saying that they should have died but it is just sad that the whole thing happened. Well, I think that if he had stayed with Blink this thing would not have happened because they were a hell of a good band.

Is it just me?

I keep hearing on the radio that the car manufacturer Lexus is having yet another sales event. It seems like each month they have a new sales event to sell more cars that only the rich can afford. Maybe no one is buying them because they are focused on being fuel efficient and they have realized that more fuel is used powering the auto-parallel park feature.

Really Australia…

Ok, so in Australia they are very strict on video game and movie ratings. For instance games have been banned because they include drugs. Now recently a game called Fallout 3 (Post-Apocalyptic RPG), that I want, included the drug morphine. So, being the douche bags they are, Australia said they would not rate the game and therefore it would be banned. So for some reason, instead of Bethesda (the developer) simply removing the drug content from the Aussie copies, decided to remove it from every copy worldwide! What the hell! So just because those retards with their kangaroos can't deal with morphine means that we can't either!?! Really Australia?

Back To School...

Well, I know that I promised to post some more in August but it turns out that didn't happen. I wanted to, and sometimes I thought of posting interesting things, but I didn't because I had other stuff to do. You might be asking "What stuff Alex, I want to know all about you because I am a cyber stalker." and to that I say, I was trying to finish out my summer in a relaxing mood. But hey, look on the brightside all you cyber stalkers, I will start posting more now, and maybe with pictures if I get a camera for Christmas.

So, school has finally started and kids around the world have been moaning and groaning because it is the first week back. Well, this year I am not groaning because it is my senior year and this year should be the easiest because I finally have a flippin' period off. I get to go home every other day at 12 and I can just take a nap or whatever I want. I am trying to get work experience also so then I can go home early every day. Wouldn't that be sweet! Going home everyday at Twelve! I could get so much done...or just waste all my time and then start my homework! Either way it would definitely be better than being here all day. Well, I'll hit this back later, it's class time right now so Peace.

The Beach

Well, I finally went to the beach for the first time this summer. It was alright I guess. I really realized this year that the beach is not quite as fun as it used to be. Now it is more relaxing than fun. But I guess those go hand in hand.

Just got GameFly!

Well, after realizing that I would end up spending a crap load of money to rent all these new games that are going to come out, I decided to get GameFly. Hopefully, it works well and then I will be happy. Lol.

Summer What’s Update for July

Hey. Well, it sure has been a while since I posted on my blog. I was just so busy at the end of the year with all my tests and projects that I pretty much left blogging at the bottom of my to do list. I'll make sure that from now I will post at least twice a week so anyone can keep up with me. And, I'll try to post some pictures up as soon as I get this shitty digital camera that my sister got from school working. So anyway, since I have not been posting recently I guess I'll just quickly run down the things that have been going on.

 

    First of all I have found it ridiculously impossible to get a job these days. I used to think that places didn't hire me because I was too young or because they wanted to hire a girl instead, but now I have come to find out that I am not being hired because a business would rather hire someone who will work with them for like 10 years instead of 10 months. That really pisses me off since I know that I am usually much more qualified for positions than the people that get hired are. But tomorrow, I have to call Albertson's back, so maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

    I really need money though. After watching a ridiculously large amount of G4's E3 2008 coverage there are so many games coming out soon that I will need money to get. The shortlist of games I will buy this year so far is: GOW 2, Spore, Dead Space, Mercenaries 2, Fallout 3, and probably 10 other games that I can't think of right now. And there will be tons of games that I will want to rent so I think I may invest in Gamefly. It makes sense because if I rent more than two games at Blockbuster in one month, then that means that I already spent more than I would have if I had just used Gamefly. But alas, it is all part of the vicious cycle because to get Gamefly, I need money, and to get money, I need a job. Maybe I should just consider whoring my body on the street corners of San Pedro. Someone is bound to pay me something. Hahahaha

 

    Well, I hope everyone had a fun 4^th of July. I know I did. Me and Jordan and Eric all went down to China Town and we bought some illegal fireworks and of course some switchblades. That place is pretty awesome because it is like the Chinese People know no laws. All they want is your money…and your soul, but money first. I still got a lot of left over bottle rockets so if anyone wants to buy some just MySpace me.

 

    Lastly, I hope everyone goes out to see The Dark Knight because that movie is ridiculously awesome. It is without a doubt the best Superhero movie of all time and is definitely the best movie of the year. It had a lot of hype on it and it really lived up to all of it. Head Ledger's performance of the joker was amazing and it was basically like I saw the joker as a separate person who was actually real. The entire movie left me in a state of awe towards modern day filmmaking.

Okay, well that is all for now, but don't worry because I'll post a lot more often now.

We could have existed before…

Okay, I just finished watching this show on the history channel called "The World after Humans" or something like that. It was all about what would happen to the world if humans suddenly ceased to exist. It was very interesting because in today's world that it is a definite possibility that humanity could become extinct from war, disease, pollution, or something else. In the show they showed what happened to the world after different lengths of time and by 10,000 years after humans there were no remnants left of humanity at all except maybe the pyramids or Mount Rushmore but they would be buried under sand or vegetation. The other thing that was interesting was that they said that if you looked at the entire time the Earth has existed, which is something around 5 or 6 billion years, as one day then the time that humans have been around would only be about 30 seconds. That is crazy!!! So if you were really imaginative you could say that perhaps other civilizations existed long before humanity and they all perished like we did and now we have no record of them because nature took everything back. Maybe there were civilizations before us that became more advanced then we are today.

Finally a name for my new Acoustic!

Ok, for the first 3 days my new acoustic guitar that I got for my birthday has remained nameless. But now, I have decided to name her izabella because it is an ibanez and that sounds perfect. If you'd like to now what I'll be playing with Izabella just check out some of "The Nightwatchman" and of course Jack Johnson and John Mayer. I'll get a picture up as soon as I can.

What pisses me off the most…

I hate seeing kids at school who just don't do any of their s**t and copy off of everyone else's work! It is like, "Why the f**k are you at school if you are going to just fool around and do nothing?" Why are these kids even wasting my time and their time with their laziness?? And the worst part about it is the fact that their parents don't even care and some of them even get stuff like cars and expensive phones when they haven't done anything worthy to receive them. If I see one more kid steal some homework then go home in a new car I don't think I will be able to keep myself from keying it.

Seriously, when are people going to stop posting those stupid urban legends/chain letters on Myspace and Facebook and everything? They are soooooo stupid. What a waste of someone's time to post a message saying that if it doesn't get reposted bad stuff will happen. And why are people so retarded that they waste their time reposting it? What has this world come to where people spend more time wasting their time instead of getting their real life problems done!
